Röki is an adventure game inspired by Scandinavian folklore; a dark contemporary fairy tale, underpinned by a deep narrative, satisfying puzzles and daring exploration. We join Tove on a fantastical journey to save her family. I've only played Risk of Rain 2 but I'm glad I checked out the first game's OST regardless. This feels like a different slice of the same cake, albeit smaller and with a different kind of "frosting;" the sound is more closed-in and electronic compared to the slightly more open and acoustic sounds in RoR2. This series has some of the best video game music I've heard, honestly. codolt
